A major AI inspection hub, and why proximity matters for electronics manufacturing in India and South-East Asia.

The AIM Network has featured Delvitech’s significant investment in a new 65,000 sq ft manufacturing and technology facility in Bangalore. The investment was announced at productronica India 2026, alongside Delvitech’s Horus, Aton and Horus Dual Lane inspection platforms.

“Our customers here didn’t ask us to be present; they asked us to be close. Bangalore is that answer,” said Roberto Gatti, Founder and CEO of Delvitech.

For the electronics manufacturing ecosystems expanding across India and South-East Asia, proximity is an operational requirement rather than a convenience. The facility brings precision machining, metrology and equipment integration under one roof, together with in-house coordinate measuring capability, engineering and R&D teams focused on localization, and a dedicated demonstration area where customers can evaluate inspection platforms on their own boards.

The result is shorter lead times, faster support, and solutions developed where production actually happens.
