Wei-Lung will be reporting to Roberto Gatti, Delvitech CEO

February 2021 – Wei-Lung Chen has been appointed Senior Global Account Manager. With his new role, Wei-Lung will manage and interpret all new business opportunities to achieve Delvitech ambitious goals with particular focus on the global business development and sales growth of key customers. Together with the global Delvitech team, he will study and develop market strategies to enhance the company growth.

Despite the young age, Wei-Lung has a vast international curriculum. After receiving the Bachelor Honours degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Auckland, he began his career as Application Engineer for SPI, AOI and AXI for Test Research Inc. in Taiwan. He later joined Viscom AG in Germany where he was Key Account Manager with responsibility for sales and sales growth for a whole range of optical and X-Ray inspection machines. His in-depth understanding in the electronic industry will ensure the delivery of effective solutions to satisfy the most challenging customer needs.

Delvitech is heavily investing to promote its growth and to demonstrate its commitment to expanding the company’s operations globally. Accordingly, the company is actively recruiting to grow its team and business operations.

Delvitech was founded in 2018 by an experienced team. The company develops and produces automated optical inspection systems for the electronics market. The purpose of AOI systems is to perform visual inspection during the manufacturing process. Optical inspection systems are designed using a software that is based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Delvitech AOI systems are mainly used for the inspection of printed circuit boards (PCB) by electronic manufacturing services. The company has entered a collaboration with IDSIA-USI SUPSI in R&D.
