Mendrisio, 16th December 2020 – Velankani, global leader in the electronics production, has decided to invest in Delvitech technology, buying D.ONE Machines for the AOI inspection. Once again, the Indian group proves to be in step with the times, investing in the future of technology: the Artificial Intelligence.
It is a fact that the electronic market is continuously changing, and that PCBs are becoming more and more sophisticated. The market requires increasingly accurate measurement of very small components, reduction of inspection time and of the number of false calls. Since ever, Velankani provides an excellent service to its demanding customers, respecting high standards of quality and offering solutions for whom it is necessary not only a SMT inspection but also a PTH inspection. Thanks to its technology, D.ONE by Delvitech allows to inspect both SMT and PTH boards and, through the Artificial Intelligence, it is capable to reduce the number of false calls, improving the performance of the whole line. In addition, the D.ONE uses inspectors based on AI which allows to increase the inspection accuracy and speed, thereby increasing the ROI (Return on Investments). Moreover, the self-programming by Delvitech will help Velankani to dramatically optimize the programming time.
